This Free-to-Play Shooter just got a Massive Update!
what is up guys welcome back to the Website today we're going to checking out one of my absolutely favorite free to-play first person shooters out there right now on Steam and that is the game called polygon if you're a subscriber of my Website you probably already heard about this game million times and I already made bunch of post about the game since 2020 and it seems like they're starting the brand new year 2024 with a banker ofen update so today we're going to checking out that all right
guys first of all if you're someone who never heard about this game or never had the chance to play the game I'm going to give you guys a brief introduction so it's completely a free-to-play tactical multiplayer first person shooter extremely similar to something like Battlefield games but with this beautiful polygon-like art style and focuses a little bit more on the realism when it comes to weapons and other gameplay features and something that I always saying is that this game has a very nice balance between a casual
first-person shooter and a tactical shooter so even if you're a beginner in first person shooter games this is not going to be that difficult you can just easily pick up and start playing and you will get used to most of the gameplay mechanics very quickly I already made an upto-date review of the game game about few months ago so if you're looking for more information definitely go ahead and check out that post I pretty much explain all the gameplay mechanics gameplay features and pretty much everything that you need to know about
the game all right last time I check out the game which is about 4 months ago and the game had around 500 daily concurrent players but nowadays with this brand new update coming to the game the player Bas is kind of increased to like thousand daily concurrent players especially on the weekends you have no issues finding matches the in-game server browsers is filled with tons of servers you can choose you can try out different Maps different game modes and they're really fun to play but today we're going to
focusing on the brand new update which is called operation sandstrom and this new update include a brand new map called sandstrom alongside couple of game modes and a brand new weapon which is the deagle and bunch of other fixers as well but the definite highlight of this new update is the brand new map sandrom and I got to say I absolutely had a fun time playing this map and Visually and aesthetically the maps looks very different to the other Maps this is more like a desert Sandy Middle Eastern style of a map which heavily
focus on the close range Urban combat and especially compared to the other map Pool in the the game which is more like a tropical greeny and bit more large scale compared to this brand new map and brings you a much needed close range bit more fastpac combat compared to some of the other maps in the game which are much more tactical and because of that most of the Clos range weapons like SMGs and assault rifles are kind of dominating compared to DMR and sniper rifles and they also add a bunch of cool weather effects like sometimes when
you're just fighting in the game sometimes a massive sandrom just come and pretty much cover the entire map and you literally cannot see anything it's pretty hard to see sometimes you you can see the little muscle flashes when enemy shoot at you and after like couple of minutes it's pretty much going to disappear and you're back to normal and also as I previously said guys the map is heavily focused on the close quarter combat and there are a lot of rooms balconies and rooftop that you have access to which is very different
compared to some of the other maps in the game because of that I feel like more players kind of camp in a certain spot and find the right angle and try to farm kills but there are a lot of natural cover in the game you can literally flank them and take them by surprise and you can literally rarely hear any Footsteps in the game which I honestly found a bit difficult especially compared to some of the other Maps mainly because of the continuous gunfight the explosions all the different things going around in the map
and they also added a brand new weapon which is the deal but I honestly haven't had the chance to unlock the weapon yet but it seems pretty powerful and definitely a nice addition to the game overall and also with the previous update they completely changed the weapon models the reload animation the sounds and they also added brand new faces to all the characters which completely change the visual and the flow of the game and also it felt like the developers are working very hard in the game adding new updates new into the
game and I'm super happy to see the game is finally coming out as a complete package as someone who played the game since 2020 I got to say the game has improved tremendously over the years and as someone who play a lot of free to-play games I have seen tons of games come and go every year without any support from developers so overall I'm super happy to see the game is doing very well right now and if you're someone who haven't played the game yet now is probably the best time to do so and I just want to make this quick post
Just to let you guys know especially with this brand new update coming to the game lot of people coming back to it and enjoying it so guys if you haven't played the game yet definitely go ahead and do so and also let me know down below what is your experience with the game so far and also the system requirements are very much acceptable you can definitely play the game even it's a very low end system as long as you have some sort of a dedicated graphics in your system and also a lot of people have issues with the download size don't
